I do this to people that like bands like Death Cab and have never heard a song off an album before Transatlanticism. It’s like… They had TONS of albums before that. Some great music, too.
A) They were featured on the Palm Pixi commerical (which i enjoy, but the sound quality on the commerical is bullshit) i wanted to watch them on the woodies but i wasn’t home. :(
B) Mainstream blowup is a curse on pop culture.
C) Death Cab = GOD. I LOVE Plans, The Photo Booth and Narrow Stairs. (Transatlanticism is my favorite though) and its typical for people to only enjoy the “newer” material of bands because “they heard it on TV, etc” listen to the radio, dig up old tracks. the original material from bands even though its not so “polished” is still amazing :)
